The relay teams did an outstanding job!  The girls 4 x 200 team of Maddie Kitselman, Jane Cooksley, Ashley Brooks, and McKenna Neufeld won the race with a season best time to become the state champions!  McKenna Neufeld has been a part of this relay team which has won the state meet for the past four years in a row.  Both Ashley and Jane ran on the winning team last year as well.   These same girls placed 2nd in the 4 x 100 relay and ran their fastest time of the year.  Felicia Jorden also qualified as a 4 x 100 relay alternate.  The girls 4 x 400 team of Alvina Perekopsky, Rachel Van Liew, Carly Nolta, and Cassidy Sharrett ran their best time of the year finishing 13th.
The boys 4 x 100 relay team of Morgan Wood, Austin Lutterloh, Jonathan Halstenson, and Abram Jackson took 2nd and ran their best time of the year.  The boys 4 x 400 relay team team of Abel Smith, Corbett Cruver, Alex Teobaldo, and Austin Lutterloh ran their fastest time of the year finishing 3rd.  Carson Lutterloh and Dustin Lirazan also qualified for the state meet as relay alternates.
I also want to give a special thanks to my team captains, Austin Lutterloh, Jonathan Halstensen, McKenna Neufeld, and Sara Zeitler.  You all did a great job this year showing leadership, developing team spirit and support, and giving me a great deal of help.  I really appreciate the job you all did!  I also want to thank Josh Cline for his great coaching of the throws and his support.  I am also thankful that Ryan Lutterloh came back from college and helped out for the last month of the season with the distance runners.  We really had a great season this year!
