MEMORIAL DAY

To many Americans, Memorial Day is just a day off, a day to enjoy the sales, a day to picnic with family.  For me, it is a day to remember the great sacrifice so many Americans before me made so that I can be free.  I am so thankful and very indebted to those who have given their life for my freedom.

Even more, I am thankful for the freedom I have in Christ.  Because Jesus died, I am free.  I am free from eternal punishment, free from the bondage of sin, free from a life of emptiness.  Since Christ died for me, I have eternal life, freedom from the clutches of sin and live a full and abundant life in Him.

Today I celebrate freedom!
