Chapel is a special event for all students as they look forward to meeting as a school family to worship and to learn more about God. Local pastors and other men and women who have a passion for their faith are invited to share a challenge with the students. Worship in song and other expressions of love for Jesus are a part of the chapel program.
Since TBS is a Pre-K-12 program, the students enjoy meeting for chapel as an entire student body several times a year. Chapels honoring our pastors, our veterans, Jesus’s birth and resurrection, and other special times give opportunity for all students to participate in chapel together.
Most weeks, our Elementary, Junior High, and High School students have their own distinct chapel services. Junior High and High School students participate in planning worship and regularly enjoy messages from guest speakers, including local pastors and youth pastors. Students are encouraged to be reflective about what is shared and to have open hearts to God’s work in their lives.
Chapel is usually on Thursdays. Parents and other visitors are always welcome to attend. Please call ahead as sometimes the schedule does change to accommodate special guests.
New Hope students in Kindergarten through 6th grade participate in a special celebration of Jesus every Friday in chapel. They begin with worship in song followed by guest speakers or student presentations. There are several special chapels throughout the year, including Grandparents’ Day, Veterans’ Day, Christmas, and Easter chapels.
