CURRENT JOB OPENINGS

Director of Admissions

Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring a Full-time (12 month, 40 hours per week ) Director of Admissions. The position will report to the Director of Advancement.

  • Coordinate campus-wide admissions events and manage enrollment procedures for all students entering grades preschool 3’s through 12th grade, including international students.  
  • Manage and schedule shadowing, tours, retention and outreach programs, preview days, and all other related admissions events.  
  • Serve as SEVIS representative to ensure governmental compliance with hosting and educating international students (I-20 and F-1 Visa).
  • Primary contact for prospective TBS applicants and their families as they move from initial interest to enrollment/attendance.  
  • Utilize the FACTS SIS portal to secure all documents and testing required to complete the admissions process.  
  • Work closely with the Parent Volunteer Network and Student Ambassadors to connect current families and students with prospective ones.
 
Requirements:  Bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of related experience.  Must be a committed Christian, attend a local evangelical church, and have excellent administrative, computer, and written/verbal communication skills.  To apply contact Sue Ellen Rush at 253-475-7226 x203 or [email protected]

High School Math Teacher

Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring a part or full time High School Math Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Applicant must be a born again Christian, faithfully attending a local evangelical church and agree with our Statement of Faith. Preferred qualifications include a degree in education and previous secondary teaching experience.

High School ASL Teacher

Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring a part High School American Sign Language Teacher for the 2020-2021 school year.  Applicant must be a born again Christian, faithfully attending a local evangelical church and agree with our Statement of Faith. Required qualifications in depth knowlege of ASL. Preferred qualifications include a degree in education and previous secondary teaching experience.

JV Girls Volleyball Coach

Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring a JV Girls Volleyball Coach (High School)  for the 2020-2021 school year.    Applicant must be a born again Christian, faithfully attend a local evangelical church and agree with our Statement of Faith.  Must have knowledge in teaching the fundamentals in the game of volleyball, the ability to commit to high school volleyball schedule, as well as the ability to create a positive and encouraging environment.

Bus Drivers

Tacoma Baptist Schools is hiring part-time bus drivers. Flexible hours. Driver needed for regular afternoon route, field trips during the school day, and occasional afternoon/evening athletic transportation. Applicants are required to have their CDL (In some cases training will be covered by the school), be CPR and first aid certified, and meet the WDOT physical requirements.
