II Corinthians 9:7 It is a privilege, one full of joy, to give to others what God has given to us.
South Sound Christian Schools tuition does not cover the entire cost of an education; therefore, we look for givers who believe in the mission of our schools to come along side us and provide financially for the needs of the school.

2013-14 Annual Fund
The HOPE3 Annual Fund was created to provide for specific educational needs beyond the scope of tuition each school year. Meeting these needs with the support of the Annual Fund enables us to educate and disciple students without shifting resources away from programs, classes, or staff.
Every donation made to the Annual Fund will be spent to address needs specific to the current school year. Each year we invite our alumni, parents, grandparents, churches, and friends of our schools to join our board, staff, and faculty by participating with a tax-deductible donation.
This year, our goal is to raise $25,000 to address needs in two specific areas – updating our wired and wireless infrastructure and supporting our general operating fund. Click the image below to view the 2013 annual fund appeal.
South Sound Christian Schools welcomes gifts to establish or increase endowed funds and to grow the TBS endowment. Endowments are permanent assets, which are invested to provide both current and future revenue streams to support the mission of the school. All donations to an endowed fund remain as principal and only a portion of the interest earned is used for current expenses; this allows the fund to continue in perpetuity and steadily increase in value.
Endowments can be established to provide financial support for scholarships, professional growth for our employees, academic programs, athletics, the performing arts, building maintenance, and a variety of other areas.
Gifts are welcome for any of the following areas:
- General Unrestricted: Used to offset annual expenses.
- Athletics: To provide funds for programming in support of the athletic program.
- Building: To cover ongoing expenses for major repairs, utilities, cleaning, and ongoing upkeep.
- Science: To cover ongoing expenses for a quality science program.
- Technology: Generates funding to help maintain the TBS Computer Lab as a state-of-the-art facility equipped with the latest hardware, software, and tools to better prepare students for both continuing education and/or the workplace.
South Sound Christian Schools is recognized by the U.S Internal Revenue Service as a 501 (c)(3) organization. All gifts are fully deductible to the extent allowed by your county of residence. Due to IRS regulations, gifts designated to cover the expenses of individual students are not tax deductible. Gifts designated for restricted scholarship funds are tax deductible as long as the criteria are not so limited that they would benefit only one specific individual.
