About

The South Sound Christian School District provides a Christian education for families throughout the Puget Sound area at two campuses.  The New Hope Christian School campus is located in Graham, Washington, and serves students in pre-kindergarten through sixth grades.  The Tacoma Baptist campus serves students in the pre-kindergarten through twelfth grades.  These schools were started with the intention of providing a Biblically based education that would assist parents with the vital task of equipping young people with a Christian worldview.  For almost 50 years now at our Tacoma Baptist Campus and over 25 years at our New Hope campus we have been delighted to provide this quality Christian education.  We desire to partner with families who support our mission, vision, core values, and core beliefs.  Countless families have given testimony of their appreciation for the Christian education that reinforces the message that the children receive in their home and church.  While you will note that we are Baptistic in heritage, we are delighted to serve families from over 125 churches of various denominations.

The South Sound Christian School district is accredited by the highly respected Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI) and approved by the state of Washington.  SSCS offers a well-rounded academic program from a Christian perspective that is supplemented by athletics, music, and the arts.  Graduates from SSCS have gone on to make a great impact for God in many walks of life.  With a proven record of academic achievement and an unwavering commitment to biblical truth, SSCS enjoys a strong legacy in Christian education.

South Sound Christian Schools does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color, or national or ethnic origin in its admission policy.  As a religious, private institution however, it does screen potential students on the basis of academic ability, deportment, and compatibility with the school’s religious goals, purpose, and philosophy.
