TBHS CONGRATULATES INCOMING HIGH SCHOOL STUDENTS
Tacoma Baptist High School congratulates Brooklake Christian 8th grade students--soon to be TBHS freshmen--Alyssa Wolf, Sara Yazdi and Hannah Zeitler on recently receiving the Christopher Columbus Award. The group of girls, which included Jordyn Wintersole, were honored for their creative idea for making evacuation signs more visible in the event of a lahar. The girls won an all-expenses paid trip to Florida, with the possibility of taking their idea national. TACOMA BAPTIST STUDENTS PLACE IN MATH OLYMPICS
Tacoma Baptist students recently competed in the ACSI Math Olympics in Seattle. Many students in 3rd through 8th grades from Puget Sound area Christian schools competed in the areas of math computation and reasoning.
