Going, Going, Gone!
One of the highlights of each year is our annual auction event at both campuses. By helping at our auction, our families greatly enhance and strengthen our educational program through their efforts. In addition to raising funds to help the school, these events are festive in nature and are an exciting time of fellowship for our guests as we come together to help our school.
Volunteers contribute to our auction by serving together in areas of their preference, whether that be item procurement, decorations, set up, clean up, and more. There is a place for everyone to serve.
Tacoma Baptist Auction
It's lots of fun helping at the annual TBS auction. This year marked our 25th year of raising money for the school. This year's auction, was on Saturday, March 8, 2008 and a good time was experienced by all! We are so thankful for all of the giving that makes our annual auction such a great success and we are blessed to have many people directing and helping to pull it all together - it really takes a lot of work! Many of the auction items went for more than estimated retail value and our own Superintendent (or as the kids call him, Mr. White) went for $400 for 8 dedicated hours of Mr. White's time.
