1 Timothy 6:6-7, 17-19  http://www.bibleready.com/detail.html?vid=29795 — “But godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we can take nothing out of it. ... Command those who are rich in this present world not to be arrogant nor to put their hope in wealth, which is so uncertain, but to put their hope in God, who richly provides us with everything for our enjoyment. Command them to do good, to be rich in good deeds, and to be generous and willing to share. In this way they will lay up treasure for themselves as a firm foundation for the coming age, so that they may take hold of the life that is truly life.”

Endowments
Tacoma Baptist welcomes gifts to establish or increase endowed funds, and grow the TBS endowment as an institutional priority.  Endowments are permanent assets which are invested to provide both current and future revenue streams to support the mission of the the school.  All donations to an endowed fund remain as principal and only a portion of the interest earned is used for current expenses; this allows the fund to continue in perpetuity and steadily increase in value.  Endowments can be established to provide financial support for scholarships, teachers, academic programs, athletics, the performing arts, building maintenance, and a variety of other areas.  Gifts are welcome for any of the following current endowments:
