Tacoma Baptist Schools' 36th Annual Auction - Saturday, April 13, 2019
The TBS Auction committee is hard at work preparing for our 2019 Auction – The Secret Garden – on Saturday, April 13th. This annual event is the biggest fundraiser for our school and we couldn’t make it happen without the support and generosity of TBS families, friends, and businesses around our community.
Our financial goal for this year’s auction is $100,000. Proceeds from the auction help us to offset those additional costs not covered by tuition, support special projects and campus improvements, and enable us to provide every student with a Christ-centered education that equips them to succeed spiritually, academically, and socially.
AUCTION DATE + TIME
Saturday, April 13, 2019. Doors open and the silent auctions kick off at 4:30pm. The live auction should wrap up around 9:00pm.
Our 2019 Auction theme is: The Secret Garden. Save the date and plan to attend this fun, outdoor themed evening that benefits our school in BIG ways!

Every year, we look to TBS families to help us fill our silent and live auctions by donating items and helping us to procure donations from family, friends, and local businesses. These could be physical items, experiences, tickets to sporting events, services, etc. Visit our auction page for a list of ideas to spark your imagination.

There are a variety of ways to volunteer with the auction between now and the event. Here are three areas where we need help in the next couple of months:
· Item Procurement – help us contact businesses and individuals in our community, asking them to donate items, services, and experiences
· Auction Sponsor Team – reach out to local businesses and offer them the opportunity to become event sponsors
· Item Pick-up – collect items that have been donated by local businesses and get them back to campus
These are tasks that can be done from home or during times that are convenient for you. Our auction team will set you up with everything you need to be successful and provide support as needed. If you can help in any of these ways, contact one of our Auction Coordinators (contact info below).

2019 FUND-AN-ITEM - VISION 20/20 PART 2
Each year, we choose one special project around our campus and allow friends or TBS to invest in it as our Fund-An-Item. In recent years, Fund-An-Item support has allowed us to upgrade the capability of our Student Center, give our gym a facelift with fresh paint and new energy-efficient LED lighting and add new laptops for our students to use. This year's project will be a continuation of our Vision 20/20 which began last year. More information to come. All Fund-an-Item donations are 100% tax deductible.
